I want to invest so I can spend more time with my family

Hello Bigger Pockets world. My name is Dre Carson. My family and I live in the Chicagoland area. My wife and I welcomed our first daughter into the world a few weeks back. To keep this post simple, her birth changed my whole perspective on life, as I am sure many of you can relate. My current job requires me to be away from them more than I am willing to accept now.

I want to make enough money in real estate that I never have to miss any moment with my family. Life is too short to miss out because I am dedicating my life to hours and hours of work.

I know that investing in real estate may not be easy, especially given the current situation in our world, but I accept the challenge.

If anyone who is familiar with the Chicagoland real estate arena is willing, I would love to pick your brain.

Thank you for you consideration.

Best,

DC

@Dre Carson

Hi Dre,

Welcome and congrats!

I always say that starting something new is always hard at the beginning. The current crisis may make it harder for some but real estate will always be needed. With that being said this too shall pass and you'll be able to work towards your goals in no time. I think your why is motivating enough and I can relate in the sense that I want more freedom to do the things that bring me true happiness! I wish you and your family the best of luck!

Sabrina
