Questions regarding wholesaling internships

Hi everyone! I have been researching the idea of wholesaling houses for about 6 months now. I was wondering if it would be a good idea to try and pursue an internship for wholesaling to get a better understanding of the concept rather that just jumping right into it. Could I get a little advice on what you would recommend? Is wholesaling internships even a thing? Thanks, Sam.
