How best to invest USAA's $25,000 Career Starter Loan at 2.99%?

I have the option to take out USAA's Career Starter Loan for $25,000 at 2.99% over 5 years.  I currently have no debt to pay off and will graduate in about a year before serving in the military.  Advice given to us was to either invest in a mutual fund or don't take the loan out at all if we don't have any debt. I'm new to Bigger Pockets and was wondering if anyone has any advice on what they did or would do with this loan?

Loan: $25,000

Rate: 3%

Terms: 5 years

Monthly Payment: $449.22

Total Interest Paid: $1,953.04

Total Paid: 26,953.04
