Need some expertise and guidance for starting out.
Hi all, I currently own a townhome that I would like to start renting. I am also looking to buy another home with a basement apartment to help subsidize the mortgage.
- 1. If I set up an LLC, would I be able to put my current townhome under the LLC, or would I have to refinance?
- Would moving this property to an LLC positively effect my debt to income ratio and help with financing other properties?
- Would I be able to buy a new home with a basement apartment rental under the LLC if it were also my primary residence?
