Finally bitting the bullet and making my first post. The last few months have been soaking up information on the site and listening to the podcast episodes. The wealth of information here is amazing and I am really impressed by how people are willing to help. We rent in South Norwalk and the plan is to buy a duplex in the next few months for a house hack. However, the prices I see around here are on the higher side but I'm curious what people think of Fairfield, Milford and Stratford. How does the market look in these towns with respect to getting quality tenants. I commute to NYC a few days a week so I don't want to move too far north.

@Ray Tapay, those are good towns to find tenants. I have a very good friend who moved from Stratford to Milford a year or two ago because of schools, etc. I would say Stratford is the toughest, it boarders on Bridgeport, which can be challenging. That said, I think that's where you'll find the most MFR stock.
