Investing in a Boom and Bust area
Hello Folks! I currently live in a bumper pull camper in the Midland/Odessa, Texas area aka Permian Basin. I make good money and have no debt. I was wondering if anyone has invested into single-family homes, multi family homes, condos/ twn houses, or even commercial real estate and been successful with renting or flipping. Keep in mind this is a oil town with big ups and downs economically and all property here is inflated drastically because of it. Being that i’m a beginner in real estate, i was wondering if anyone had any tips for investing in this type of area. I also don’t want to settle down here forever.
