Starting a new journey after running into several dead ends.

Hello everyone. I am starting out a new venture in my life. I have found that I keep getting stuck in jobs that have no future, so I want to work for myself. I want to start getting into Residential Rentals and Single Family home rentals. Just not sure how to start out. Look forward to brain storming with everyone.
