Getting started in the Jacksonville Market.

Hello everyone, I am new to the real estate market (as in recently licensed). I had the plan of working for a home builder in sales but the vast majority of my experience is in remodeling and investment evaluation. Both of my parents were career flippers when I came along and I was at each rehab since diapers. That being said I have very confidently decided that working in the rehab and flip (sell or rent) is where I need to be. I have an excellent eye for portentously and I am not afraid to get my hands dirty. The point of my rather long post is to ask a few questions.

What advice would the experienced have for someone wanting to get right to work?

Are there people who simply consult investors anymore. Such as someone to go with then prospecting, give ideas for rehab and even manage the project for them.? (While doing the simple things such as cabinets, backsplash etc as needed)

What would be a good resource to find investors to partner with on projects?

I am not even sure if I am looking at the beginning the correct way. But since my parents aren’t around to ask any longer I figured I would farm this vast network of knowledge. Thank you in advance for any information or guidance you can give and here’s to an excellent 2020!
