New first time buyer with a weird question.

Hello everyone and happy new year. Let me introduce myself. Im kyle 30 years old and I'm looking at my first home I want to buy. This house is a foreclosure. It does need some repairs. I'm aware of all the damage it has. The things I was wondering is this. Can I legally have a contractor come out and give me quotes on the repairs (siding damage) before I start talking to the realtor and bank on the house? Or do I have to talk to them first?  Thank you for helping in advance.
