Beginner out of Columbia sc

Hi, I'm Billy Jones from Columbia SC, I just recently became interested in wholesaling real estate 2 months ago. I spend a lot of my time when I'm off from my full-time job going through analysis paralysis consuming as much information as I can learning about the wholesaling aspect of real estate. Now that I have some idea on what to do I do not know where to start or even know is it legal to wholesale in the Columbia, Lexington area?

I have a burning desire to learn & obtain my real estate license but do not have the funds to do so just yet...however, wholesaling properties will be my way to do that while gaining more knowledge and experience along the way.

I am taking action from what I do know now like driving for dollars collecting the addresses of the properties, going on the county tax assessor website to get the owner's name, then skip trace for their numbers. At this point I'm stuck... what do I say? What type of questions should I ask when speaking with a seller?

I know this is a lot lol... but I'm serious about learning and growing. If anyone could help or give advice, i would greatly appreciate it.
