I recently read a success story on the forums where a couple decided to pull the trigger and buy a triplex in SoCal. Being how I really wanna help my family and get out of the rat race before im fully involved, I decided I needed to stop reading all this great information on the forums and take it step by step. So this week I've slightly pulled the trigger and once I get my operating agreements complete ill be filing the paperwork for my company in D.C. this friday. Below is sort of my checklist before i pull the trigger.

- Continue research on bigger pockets.(whole process of investing i will always return)
-Join my local Real Estate Investing club
-Develop or buy a system to run comps to analyze property.(I know a few members offer this)
-Make sure I have all forms needed to actually submit an offer.
-Contact Realtors, Brokers and Auction houses and ask to be put on their mailing list.( I already have one)
-Assemble my team, starting out ill prob just have a realtor, and find a good affordable lawyer.accountant( the last two might have to wait after the first deal)
-Find a deal and run analysis
-Find financing and not give up.

Also for us with little to no capital it is possible to do deals withs no money down just goto the success stories section but i wouldnt limit myself to that. For me personally while my heart is Multi-Family and Apartmentments im looking at other options such as wholesaling.

So while it is scary I think the first good step is to get yourself down atleast on paper, one small step at a time. future investors.
