Called vacant property owner, what should I do now?

Hi BP, so I just got off the phone with a homeowner of a vacant property and was asking her about it. I told her I’m interested in buying, but that she hasn’t thought about selling it.

She said she would think about it and she got my name and number and said she will get back to me in a few weeks.

Should I just wait a couple of weeks or is there something else I should be doing inbetween then. Should I ask her if she’d like installments or offer her a down payment even if she hasn’t agreed to sell? Should I have tried to get more info out of her so I can better satisfy her needs as well as mine?

This is my first homeowner call so I could use some advice.

Thank you all in advance. 😊
