Questions to ask Contractors

Good afternoon BP,

What are some questions that I should be asking contractors when determining which contractor to use as part of my team?  What red flags do you all stay away from?

Thanks,

Dustin

The only question that matters:

Can you provide three references who you have recently completed __________ (renovation, new construction, additions, etc) for and would I be able to view any of those completed projects?

If a contractor is not willing to share past references or can't think of 3 people who would speak highly of them... then you probably better look for a different contractor.
