Learning the Ropes of Real Estate

Hey BP community,

I'm a 26 year old who graduated a couple years back with an BA in Accounting. I recently moved to CT, and I'm set to take my real estate courses this December. I'm a little overwhelmed and not sure where to start in regards to increasing my knowledge of my current market place. I plan to get into commercial. Aside from Rich Dad Poor Dad (which I've already read) is there any other books or other reliable sources to help understand my marketplace, or understand the commercial real estate industry in more detail?

Thanks,

Steve
