Sacramento REI meetups (not Renatus!)

I am in Sacramento and wanted to see if there was a REI meeting that is not an education sales pitch to get started. Went to one meeting and it was all about selling information we can get for little to know money. With that being said is there an REI meeting in Sacramento if not would anyone be willing to set up a meeting/networking meet and greet?
