Hello all- My name is Aaron and I live in Bettendorf, IA. My parents invest in rentals in Galesburg, IL, and currently only single family homes. I’ve decided to join the fun and bought my first house in September. I’m rehabbing a home my neighbor (Homevestors franchisee) passed on, and I already have a tenant lined up. Lots to learn and I find myself struggling between wanting to take on debt from anyone/everywhere to go all in quick vs. being patient and doing 1 or 2 houses this year.  My old boss is willing to partner with me on finances so she sees a reasonable return, and it would help me jumpstart. Right now I took a full loan for my first rehab, and I need to find out how I can take my contract sale to the bank and turn it into a refinance to pay off my contract.

I look forward to meeting a lot of people and building relationships. I work FT in supply chain so my rehabbing is on the weekends. Lots of busy weeks to come. Exciting stuff!

Aaron
