Wholesaling in California?

Hi everyone,

I would like to know if wholesaling is legal in California?

The reason I am asking this question is that I' m planning to move to CA and a few friends told me that wholesaling is nonlegal there. I got confused,. 

Id highly appreciate if you can share your ideas if you have accurate information on this
