New Member - Looking for advice with first out of state BRRRR

New to the world of Bigger Pockets Forum. I have been listening to the podcast for the last year while paying off the last of my consumer debt.

Now debt free, I am ready to put my education to action. I am in NY so out of state BRRRR is really where my heads at as far as the niche I want to attack.

Finding it hard to get the ball rolling. Feel like I’ve trained to win a marathon but don’t know where the start is.

How did you approach your first out of state deal with real no contacts or credibility?
