Newbie Investor looking for Private Lenders
Hello BP!
I've been a member now a few weeks and have been studying REI awhile now. I'm looking to get into Fix and Flips, I've looked hard money lenders and private lenders but can't seem to find any. I'm in the West Michigan area, looking to do projects in the Lansing, Kalamazoo and Grand Rapids area.
Any suggestions?

@Dominque Echenique do you have a real estate meetup in your area? Here's what I'd do :) ...
1. Commit to going to that meetup every single month for a year
2. Introduce yourself to everyone over time, and exchange business cards.
3. ALWAYS follow up on every business card you get, requesting a phone call or coffee. Build a relationship from there
At the end of the year, you'll be known to the people who are playing the game, you'll have shown that you're serious, and people will come to you offering money. That's what's happened to me, and I didn't even want the money! I've found it takes 7-12 "touches" to get there. Best of luck!
