Owning rental properties through an LLC-questions

James Heacock
Posted

Hi everyone. I am doing research on owning rental properties through one or more LLCs and buying a property through a company such as Memphis Invest. I am getting caught up on the details, causing me to delay. I was hoping that there would be someone who owns their properties out of state through their LLCs that would be willing to chat with me occasionally as I get started. I am just trying to avoid mistakes before I purchase a property, but also want to get past my paralysis due to certain parts of the process being unknown to me. Thanks!

@John Morgan May I ask what an STR is?

STR stands for short term rental. That was my first investment in Branson, Missouri. It rents out by the night with VRBO etc.
