Getting Started in Real Estate!

Taye Calder
Posted

I am very interested in the world of real estate investing and for the past few months I have been listening to the Bigger Pockets Real Estate Podcast almost every day and reading real estate books as well as listening to many other real estate podcasts in the past couple months. I have been listening to multiple podcasts a day and it seems like everyone has a different approach when buying their first property. I have looked into a few different options for my first property including duplex, triplex, and single family homes, as well as considering flipping or wholesaling and I can't seem to decide which one will be best for me. I have about 16 thousand available personally for investment into real estate and I am just looking for any tips or suggestions for my first property: including the type of property or deal or any other general suggestions about getting started!!!
