New Wholesaler - How to Spend $500 a Month Towards Success?

Hello,

I am starting out in wholesaling in Baltimore, MD. I've ingested loads of info from Bigger Pockets and Wholesaling Inc and have driven for dollars on my way home from work for a couple weeks. I compiled property lists using Maryland SDAT's website, uploaded them to batchskiptrace.com, and spent lunch breaks @ work cold-calling owners. No deals yet, but I'm getting over the initial jitters of calling people out of the blue.

Soon I will have about $400-$500 / month "extra" income to apply to my REI efforts. Since I am a newbie, do you recommend I:

- put this money into the Dealmachine app and have some other people driving for dollars (wife, pizza delivery guys, etc) to cover areas I'm not hitting

- turn this into a small-time direct mail campaign

- get bandit signs and put them up in the dead of night (not thrilled about this one but I'll do it if it will get me my first deal. I got kids to feed!)

- put this towards some sort of mentorship instead (that's where the $ from my first deal is going anyway)

- combination of some of the above?

- some other method I haven't wrapped my head around yet

Thank you very, very, very much for your time!  I see lots of lives changed around here and mine is next! :-)
