Financial advice for investing

Brandon Maggi
Posted

Hello BP,

I am new to BP and new to real estate investing. I'm currently reading books from BP and listening to podcast to educate myself as much as possible. I currently own my home in the California Bay Area and will be selling to relocate to the Boise Id area next year. I am looking to buy and hold SFH along with Multi family in and around the Boise area. After selling our home I will have a decent amount of money to work with. The big question I am trying to figure out is do I pay cash for a primary Residence and invest the remaining balance or do I rent and invest the entire balance? I'm not sure which makes the most financial sense. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Brandon
