Question regarding occupied foreclosure in Ohio

Jesse Gonzales
Posted

Hi everyone,

I am a new investor looking for a property to fix and flip and have come across a few properties at auction that I would like to pursue purchasing. I have noticed the majority of the properties that I have my eye on are occupied and I am worried that the tenants or previous owners won't take cash for keys. Has anyone had experience evicting a tenant/previous owner from a property purchase at auction in the state of Ohio? I guess I really am trying to find out the typical time frame it can take by going through the eviction process through the courts. I know that its going to be case by case but just wanting a general idea if anyone has any experience with this.

Thanks in advance for any help/advice
