Hard Money Lending Advice

Is Do Hard Money (DHM) a reliable source for hard money lending? I am new to real estate investing and I recently had a call with DHM about getting pre approved for a hard money loan. I looked into the reviews for this company and alot of them say the same thing, they do not deliver on the advertised 100% financing promise. I am unsure if i should move forward with this process or not and was hoping someone could give me an answer here.
