Using Student Loans for REI

I was reading around the net and read quite a few articles that people use their student loan money to REI. I am active duty army and therefore my college is 100% paid for. I have an investor who is older and wants to unload properties. I want to buy all 15 from her over time but of course need the 20% down payment which is where the student loans come in. The properties produce 3-4k in rents per month as of now.

It never amazes me anymore the type of BS people can come up with for finaning RE. While you do get cash advances for student loans you'd have to be an idiot to use that money for RE! RE has risks. There is nothing about RE that is 100%!!!! Not only would it be an illegle use of funds it would also be a risky use of those funds.
These are govt. guanantee funds, meaning if you take the noney there is no way of taking bankruptcy and getting reliefe from that debt. You will repat ever dime if it takes you the rest of your life!

There are so many alternatives for financine without such presonal liability that the use of such funds is just plain nuts! Staw away from from government money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
