Hello everyone ! My name is Tony Im 26 years old from Santa Barbara Ca. Im eager to learn all that I can in preparation for my first investment. Im not looking to all of a sudden become a millionaire like everyone else who is trying to get rich quick. Im simply (easier said that done) looking to increase my monthly cash flow by acquiring rental properties all around the continental United States. Just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. Time to get to work! Let me know if there are any mentors out there who are close to me or willing to chat.

Welcome Tony. It sounds like you have a good realistic plan and its a pretty good time to jump in. I would recommend starting close to home, and I'm sure others will as well. I know you live in an expensive part of the country, but try to make your first investment as close by as possible so you can be actively involved and really learn the ropes. It will make it much easier to hire property managers, contractors, etc. later when you know what to look for. Just soak up all the knowledge you can on here and good luck!
