Can I start a first time home buyer program once under contract?

Hello. My wife and I just made an offer for a SFR in Seattle, Washington and it was accepted. We got pre-approved and had originally planned to research first time home buyer programs to take advantage of the assistance provided. My wife fell in love with this place when we saw it so we had to act on it. Now I'm wondering if it Is it too late to still do a first time home buyer program now that we're under contract. I assume we missed that opportunity but I thought I'd ask around just in case. Any help is much appreciated.

Thank you
