To be an agent or not to be

Should I become an agent if my only objective is to pop into MLS properties? I have little to no desire to sell a home or help anyone but myself buy a home.

I do realize that my team will need agents, I just don’t want to be part of those particular roles and responsibilities.

Thank you in advance.

@Derek Armstrong it has its advantages.  You’ll have to be under a brokerage and usually pay them a monthly fee (100-170/month) is the range in my market.  A big plus is that you don’t have to wait around for someone to let you into the properties.  A big negative is that you constantly have to disclose that you have a real estate license.  You get Held to a more strict standard as a “licensed professional”.

I don’t know your experience level by any means, or how many deals you’ve been involved with.  Just make sure you really learn the paperwork.  You don’t want to screw yourself because you made a paperwork mistake.
