Im think of sending a neighbor a letter and would like everyone's input (pro or con). Here it goes..

Dear Ms. Karen

My name is Raul Velazquez Jr. I live across the street from you at xxxxxxxx. I noticed that you rarely stay at your home at xxxxxxxx. I was wondering if it was due to the gutter work and/or any other defects it may have. I am beginning to invest in real estate and would like to buy your property (which would be my first) if you are interested in selling.

I am interested in your house because I live in the neighborhood and know the neighborhood. I would like to purchase your house and rent it to quality tenants that will help preserve our neighborhood. I can be reached at xxxxxxx
