Got my first appointment, what next?

Hey guys,

I started my cold calling this week after months of just consuming as much information as possible but still find myself stuck as to what I should do next. The current seller is a motivated seller, how motivated you may ask. Idk because I didn't do that good of a job during the call. Was use to just leaving a voicemail so when he did answer I was nerves and rushed.

We have an appointment this Friday for me to check out the property. My question is besides running numbers before knowing most of the work that needs to be done, he was very vague and I failed to ask him to elaborate. Should I make an appointment with a lawyer to draft up contracts for me (which would most likely be expensive compared to my income right now) or wait until Friday when i'm more sure of the deal?

Any advice and suggestions will be greatly appreciated
