Offering VALUE for Networking

Hey Biggerpockets! 

One area that I am currently lacking is in having a group of experienced people that I can go to for questions in my investing career. On the other side, two things that I do have are time and hustle to offer for any investor that is looking to scale their investments. I have experience in managing my grandparents rental properties so I would like to offer that service to someone who would be willing to answer random questions about REI. I'm located in St. George, Utah, which is about an hour and a half from Vegas and a really hot market for vacation rentals.

Hey @Riley Billings, you're definitely coming from the right place focusing on the value that you can add to someone but I have a question for you. What do you expect to ask someone you're willing to work for free for, that you couldn't ask to the thousands of investors already on the BP forums? Mentors are great and valuable, but if you already have experience managing properties and live in a hot short term rental market, why not try to get your hands on your own short term rental through a rental arbitrage model? Not saying you're doing anything wrong, just don't think you should sell yourself short or think someone is going to give you a magic answer locally that you can't already find on BP.
