How to get started in property investing

I am fresh out of high school. I will be received some money over the next 4 years and I would like to get started in property investing. My goal is to have some vacations rentals to rent out. I know that I have to start small but there is my long term goal.

I am looking for tips and tricks to the business. Suggestions, lessons learned.
