Does it pay to get a real estate license?

Hi All,

Quick question. As a new investor, does it make sense to invest in a license in my state (TX)? Pros, cons?  I'm new the real estate market but I've been investing a lot of time into learning.  I sense it could help with finding deals and having access to more resources, plus the knowledge it would give me.  Any thoughts?
