How should I go about the learning/networking process if I am in

I will be entering my junior year of high school next year and am trying to figure out how I should approach my investing education. I am considering going to a local meetup, but I obviously can't bring much value due to my age. Is the environment typically fairly relaxed or would I be unwelcome for wasting people's time? I have been relying on podcasts and books for my education so far is there anything else I should include? I live in the bay area, Santa Rosa to be precise, if that helps at all.
