90 Day Challenge Accepted! - My First BP Post

I just finished watching Brandon's webinar about the 90 day challenge and it fired me up!!! It was just what I needed to finally get serious about my real estate investing and now I have the confidence to say that I will complete my first real estate deal in 90 days. I've been looking into real estate investing for the past 7 months but have taken no real action. I've been a BiggerPockets member since February and have only just now added a pic to my profile lol I am constantly reading books, watching videos, but never feeling like I'm actually making any true progress. I can tend to (1) procrastinate like hell on the things that I know I should be doing, (2) be pretty hard on myself and (3) I am also extremely impatient which instead of just sticking with one thing and following it through, causes me to get frustrated when I don't see immediate results and then I move onto the next thing vs just working the process. The financial freedom and possibilities that real estate can offer excite the crap out of me. Through reading the posts in the forum and all the testimonials, I've seen how people have gotten such amazing results and are really moving along on their journey but for some reason I could never figure out how to get myself going. However, after watching Brandon's 90 challenge webinar, it was exactly the motivation that I needed to really go out there and make something happen.

I've come to realize that wealth building really is all about the long game and if I want to create wealth for myself and my family, I need to build my process, follow it, and rest in the fact that if I do those things CONSISTENTLY, the results that I desire WILL come.

This is my first post in the forum and that for me is huge and a great step in the right direction towards achieving my goal.

My Goals for the 90 Day Challenge:

1. Do a lease option deal on a SFR that will give me at least $5000 at the beginning, $200/month in cashflow, and at least $30k at the back end from the close of the sale.

2. Lease option the purchase of my first duplex or triplex that I will live in and have each unit cashflow at least $150/month.

These are my goals and I will have them completed by 10/25/19.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and allow me to share this with you. This is really going to help me stay accountable.

I would also love to hear what other people have for their goals for their own 90 Day challenge.

If anyone needs an accountability buddy, let me know! We're all in this together!

@Hannah Woods love it and you have some great goals!!

I know when I first started I wrapped my "WHY" around my goals. The emotional juice to keep you going in this crazy business... For me it was realizing my CPA job was keeping me away from my wife and two girls - I was missing the "magic moments". If it is helpful, here is a link to my story where I cover more on the WHY - I quit my CPA Job to buy Large Apartment Buildings

The journey ahead won't be easy, however - I 100% believe your goals are achievable.

Good luck!!
