Looking Real Estate Agent in Phoenix, AZ
I’m looking to start investing in real estate within the Phoenix market (specifically Tempe or Mesa). My goal is to purchase a duplex so that I can live in one unit and rent out the other, but if none of those come up during the search, then a single family home would be a good option as well.
I’ve met with a couple of recommended real estate agents who seem genuine and knowledgeable, but they just don’t see my vision. I think the disconnect here is occurring because they mainly focus on finding family homes instead of potential real estate investments.
So I’m reaching out here to see if I could get some advice on whether I should move forward with one of these great agents or search for one that focuses on investment properties. If so, how can I begin that search or do any of you fit that profile? Any and all advice is appreciated, especially when it comes to the Phoenix market.

Yes, investing is definitely a different strategy than finding a PR, and it's important to find an agent who knows the difference! It's also important to find an agent who understands the different investing strategies that work in different parts of town. Phoenix is huge and diverse and expanding - lots of potential here for those who understand the market.
