Reliable front door combo lock?

I currently have a Schlage front door lock on a 4 unit, which requires a combination upon entry and automoticaly locks once closed. I have been changing the batteries every 2 or 3 months (4x AA). My last lock only needed the batteries changed yearly, but all the numbers rubbed off the pad.
