Why is it important to start investing?

I've been learning a lot about real estate and investing in general in the last 6 months and it has been great. It's really crazy how we don't learn about any of that stuff in school. I thought it would be a great idea to start making short videos about what I'm learning and start sharing it with my friends on social media. I feel like a lot of people can benefit from it and they can also start doing their own research about real estate and investing. Already made my first video and planning my second which will talk about why its important to start investing. I already have an idea of what I'm going to say but I wanted to get different perspective from BiggerPockets investors. I thought that maybe you guys might have different reasons that I didn't think or haven't read about. Thank you for your help.
