hi all,

i just put in a new security camera system in one of my apartment buildings, the guy that installed it showed me how to get the app om my phone.

BUT when i want to change settings, like turning on motion sensors etc. i always need to contact him  in order for him to change it.

also, when i want to log in through the computer he said he will need to send me a link etc. because it has a username and password that only he has..

MY question to you is, why wouldn't he give me the username and password to my own system. is that a common thing that the companies do??
