Wholesaling advice, creating a list of investors

Hi guys,
I´m currently based in the UK and some RE deals work a bit differently compared to the US market, but I find some of the ways of wholesaling (sourcing) a bit outdated here. My question is specifically about finding investors for the deals. What most people I´ve spoken to do here is just going to networking events, talking to a lot of people and slowly compiling their investor lists, but this is probably not a very efficient way. The deals, once agreed, move fast, there´s no title company involved, one basically finds a deal and passes it onto an investor literally within minutes or hours for a fee they agree on. How would you go about creating a list of investors in a more efficient way, preferably using online tools ?
