Memphis area investing

Howy Lerner
Posted

We are newbies and just starting this journey. Looking to invest in the Memphis area. Probably going to buy a turnkey first just to get our feet in the water. Then want to do some BRRRR's. We are doing research on the area but looking for some insight from people already investing in that area as to any good/bad areas, streets, zip codes etc. any advice would be helpful.

Memphis can't really be distilled down to good and bad zips! We have a few A+ areas but our B and C areas all have very strong neighborhoods and bad areas all within the same zip! Memphis is very street to street and you have to learn your neighborhoods.
