Introduction to BP. Louis Walthall

Hello all,  My name is Louis Walthall.  I'm 46 years old and after a divorce and a move to from NY to NC 4 years ago I started my rental property investment journey all over again. I had some rental properties in NY in the past but those are just that, past.  So with being in NC for 4 years I have bought 4 properties.  We rent 3 and live in one.  We are currently selling one and using those funds to purchase another.  I didn't do the in depth research I should have with the properties I purchased over the last few years.  I saw what I thought were good deals and did quick income vs expenses on spreadsheets and so far so good.  

Now my girlfriend and I are looking to get really serious and build a real plan. So I've been reading and re-reading many books on investing and have come to BP to gain as much knowledge as I can. My girlfriend has since gotten her real estate license so we can have access to MLS and properties quickly. Any advise, information, etc. is always welcomed and well appreciated.
