Brand new to the game of real estate Investing

Hi guys, I'm new here and new to REI. I don't really know where to start or where to find the funds to buy a house for flipping and buy and holds. If anyone has any ideas or where I can find meetups in my area of riverside without the "package" deals please let me know.
