Hello Everyone,

I currently have 6 units in Washington State that I would like to transfer to an LLC. I am also in the market for an 8 unit soon in Washington state. I'm looking for recommendations on a Seattle area attorney that can help me get a Washington State LLC structured etc. I welcome advice on the topic as well. My goal is to use this LLC for most or all of my WA properties and then form others in different states that I acquire commercial apartment units. I have also thought about owning these LLCs from a Wyoming LLC for protection.

@Reinhard Kurzen you could probably do this yourself, but consulting with an attorney would be my recommendation. In my experience, this would not need to be a real estate specific attorney, that may save you some money.

Whenever you have a listed partner in the LLC you'll want to have an operating agreement. This is where an attorney will be very helpful.

Sounds like @Scott Smith is willing to help. I would be happy to refer you to someone based in Washington if you'd like as well.
