Splitting the Profits
I know the answer can vary greatly deal-to-deal, but how do you go about splitting profits? Lets say I have a partner that invests 100 percent of the money and I do 100 percent of the work, i.e. renovations, marketing, obtaining leads, etc. It's impossible to know from the start exactly how much work - and money - the deal will ultimately require when it's all said and done. That being said, if I were the one investing all the money, I'd want to know exactly what I stand to gain, whether it be cash-on-cash return or equity. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated, thank you!
