Local Refi lending in Kansas City

Hello fellow freedom chasers. I'm extremely new to REI and have been reading, listening and watching as much as possible. The most recent webinar I watched was the 90 Day Challenge. It has me motivated to find my first deal locally in KC. I've heard it more than once to find a local lender. Does anyone have any suggestions? I just had a phone call with Quicken Loans and found the rep very attentive and personable. Has anyone used them for a cash out refi? The BRRRR strategy is most appealing to me so I plan on buying with little money down and using most of my funds for a high quality rehab. Thank you in advance for any posts!
