LLC - in Nevada or Missouri
Hi there. I haven't bought anything yet but I'm getting ready for that moment. I live in Nevada but I will probably begin my investment purchases in Missouri (born and raised so I know the area & my family there is also in the RE investor business). Question – Should I form my LLC (or Series LLC) in NV or MO? Thank you for your time.

@Ann B. You are not limited to NV as long as you are using the Series LLC for asset holding, but if those are the only two states that you are considering NV provides stronger asset protection laws. At my firm we use TX because it along with NV it provides optimal protection and TX has not yearly fees (among other benefits).
