Trying to find a good lead source

I'm newer to the concept of wholesaling and decided to use an unknown equity list with vacant/ absentee owners to cold call this month. My concern is that the amount of motivation isn't there from the people I'm talking to. Is it worth the time to keep pushing with this list or would I be better off using another?
