New Investor in the Tampa Area

Dan Hess
Posted

Hi all!

First off, thank you to Bigger Pockets for building such an incredible community... I've learned so much in the past five months or so! I've been looking at real estate as an investment for quite some time, just received BRRRR as a gift and am ready to start meeting folks to build my "Core Four."

Does anyone here have recommendations for:

- Real Estate Agent: someone who understands real estate as investment vs. owner occupied and understands the Tampa market extremely well (good areas for rentals, etc).

- Contractor: someone who doesn’t mind walking through a property with me to estimate rehab costs and form a long term partnership. Patience required as I work through my first few deals.

I intend to start by purchasing in the $40-80k range, ideally good structural homes in need of cosmetic rehab.

Thanks!

Dan
